About Cache Valley Bank

Our History
Cache Valley Bank was organized in 1975 as the Bank of North Park, with the name being changed to the present name in 1981. When it started, the bank was housed in what is now the North Logan branch of Lewiston State Bank. The bank moved to a leased facility at 360 North Main in Logan and then in 1988 moved to the location of its main branch at 101 North Main. In September of 2001, the branch office was opened in North Logan.

The original investors who formed the bank in 1975 sold stock to a number of local residents, employees, and family members over the years. In 1983 the bank was recapitalized with a group of stockholders that numbered about 80. In August of 1995 the bank was sold to the Cache Valley Banking Company, a holding company formed to own 100 percent of the bank stock. The holding company is owned by two families and officers of the bank.

The bank’s mission since its inception has been to provide services to small businesses, farmers, and residents of Cache Valley. The bank has experienced steady growth since the mid 1980’s and now has become the third largest regulated institution in Cache County according to FDIC deposit surveys.
